Strip design application. Yeah, I love Justin.

Week of July 27th

Right now I am just playing with my iPad to try and ready myself for deployment. At this time I am feeling bad for any district which has purchased these as writing utensils! Very awkward. I am going to attempt to upload things I created on the iPad to my blog, to see the ease with which I can, or cannot, use these tools. Wish me luck.

Week of July 21st

Last week's class was great, I really enjoyed getting to know everyone better!  I loved how people used the experience theme in such different ways.  I'm really considering switching from the black theme this week, but every time I try I fail, so don't hold your breath.  It's just that I love the clean look.

We are taking a last minute trip to Loveladies for the week.  I must be moving up in this world.  For more information about Loveladies, click Here.  All day yesterday (on facebook) my friends and I perused the name loveladies (of course, all of us were too lazy to look it up).  We had all kinds of ideas for the unusual name.  In reality, however, it is quite boring.  Just some guys last name.  Of course, we could have fun postulating the original reason for that last name.......

Anyway, here is our lovely home away from home, hopefully they have a wifi, or a neighbor has an unlocked wifi, otherwise, I'll be doing some travelling.  It won't allow me to copy the pics, so I'll put a link:  Loveladies house.

Week of July the 14th

I wanted to explain myself for the string of expletives I let fly to my fellow drivers while, unbeknownst to me, I was connected to the live wimba classroom.  It wasn't my fault.  As an American, I reserve the right to blame someone else for all of my actions.  You see, I have a penchant for all things rap related, and it is this affinity for Eminem, Lil' Wayne, Dre, Wiz, Drake and Biggie that hinders my ability to keep my language clean.  How can I be expected to keep my mouth clean when all of my idols use such foul verbiage?  If only the government would BAN these songs, I could be a become a role model, dazzle my classmates, and probably find a cure for cancer.  So, it is with great valor that I take full responsibility for this blunder (even though it wasn't my fault), and apologize to you, my fellow MAIT seekers, for the impurities with which I have defiled your innocence.

Click here for an example of the lyrics which have affected my vocabulary, and take a good long look at the villains pictured below.  But I warn you, do not listen to them, or you too may fall victim.

First Class

Ok, so it seems like I am repeating myself a bit, but I enjoyed tonight's class, and getting to know all of the new people.  I am a bit overwhelmed with work between my two grad classes and new job, so I am trying to get as much done as possible on the weekends. That being said, here is a link to a site with information about Malcolm Knowles:  Malcolm Knowles  and a photo of him.  I just finished a 15 page chart comparing the NJCCS to the Common Core Standards, so I figured it was time to start the chart for Knowles andragogy theory.  Once this two week accelerated class ends, I should be able to breathe.
